O letramento informacional de adolescentes surdos
revisão integrativa da literatura

O letramento informacional é essencial para o exercício pleno da cidadania. Este trabalho analisa a produção científica sobre letramento informacional de adolescentes surdos por meio de uma revisão integrativa nas bases OpenAlex, LISA, Scopus e Web of Science. Foram identificados 12 documentos que abordam a temática e os resultados evidenciam uma lacuna sobre a temática na Ciência da Informação. As barreiras linguísticas constituem o principal obstáculo ao acesso equitativo à informação. Os estudos analisados ressaltam a importância do desenvolvimento de recursos em língua de sinais e de conteúdos adequados à cultura surda. Conclui-se pela necessidade de ampliação de pesquisas ações de letramento informacional para a comunidade surda e pesquisas que avaliem o impacto destas ações a longo prazo.
